As a Sales & Recruitment Consultant at RecruitShop your primary responsibility will be to sell our recruitment service to a variety of new and existing clients. You will then deliver an end-to-end recruitment service to your client to help them connect with their next great employee. 

What will this look like day-to-day?

  • Making outbound sales calls and responding to inbound enquiries;
  • Pitching the benefits of our recruitment service to new and existing clients;
  • Following up with potential clients to close sales and develop your client list;
  • Consulting with your clients to understand their recruitment needs;
  • Producing targeted recruitment marketing and advertising to attract candidates; and
  • Using recruitment management software to screen and shortlist candidates.

What you need to succeed

There are couple of key things that are a must to succeed at RecruitShop, namely:

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for engaging with others over the phone;
  • A 'hunter' mentality with a desire to win and a hunger to push for and find more sales;
  • Some experience working to targets and KPIs; and
  • A great attitude and friendly personality (we value and respect each of our colleagues, clients and candidates).

We're always open to speaking with people from a range of skills and backgrounds, as long as they meet the above criteria. You might come from a B2B, corporate sales, or recruitment background - great! However, we would equally be interested in talking to travel consultants, appointment setters, internal sales people, gym membership get the drill!

You’ll be offered an attractive base salary plus super, and uncapped commissions (Expected OTE of $70,000-$80,000 in your first year)! Once you’ve grown your client base, your earnings will also grow.

You will be given extensive training in your first 3-6 months of employment and ongoing career progression opportunities.
