Our client is seeking a Child/Adolescent Trauma Counsellor (CAT Counsellor) to join their company in Bathurst, NSW, with the potential to earn a Negotiable Hourly Rate $29.17 - $35.00, Based on Part Time - 28 Hours Per Week | Salary $72,800 Pro Rata + Superannuation + Training Budget.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide counselling and group work for children and adolescents who have been affected by abuse, family/domestic violence, significant neglect or are at a risk of significant harm or are in 'out of home' care.
Reporting directly to The Manager some of your responsibilities include:
To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in counselling, social work, psychology or equivalent. You must also have 3+ years demonstrated counselling experience and be eligible for an appropriate professional membership above student level.
Additionally, experience with traumatised populations focusing on children and adolescents would be beneficial for this position.
You must have a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to be considered.
