Our Client

Our client is a well established and supportive small-medium sized accountancy practice in the suburb of southern Sydney. They have a large and loyal client base and a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Accountant  to join their practice based in Kogarah, NSW with the potential to earn a Generous Salary Package | Negotiable Dependent on Experience. 

The primary purpose of this position is to use your accounting experience and effective communication ability to assist the firms clients with tax and business matters.

Reporting to the Directors your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and offering tax and business advice.
  • Tax compliance for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Independently advising, meeting with and consulting with clients.
  • Completing financial statements including SMSF, contacting the tax office and other duties as required

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2+ years public practice tax accounting experience along with a positive demeanour and professional approach. Additionally you must have a tertiary qualification and specific experience with Self Managed Super Funds. 

As this is a client facing role, excellent communication skills, a motivated attitude and the ability to build rapport with clients are all key requirements.
