Since 1998, our client has developed a well respected, multi-disciplinary practice including Psychiatry and Paediatrics; Clinical, Educational and Developmental Psychologists; Behavioural Therapists; Speech-Language Pathologists; and Occupational Therapists.  Their state of the art facilities includes an integrated IT management system allowing for more focus on delivering clinical work and less on administration.

Over the last 18 years, they have forged a strong reputation and enviable referral network of Schools, GP's and agencies which all help to develop a strong caseload for their team.  

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Psychologist to join their company in Newcastle, NSW, with the potential to EARN a highly competitive salary (commensurate with experience & qualifications).  This is a flexible position where you can work Full Time or Part Time, depending on your circumstances.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist individuals in the local community.

Reporting to the Operations Manager some of your responsibilities include:

  • Initial and Diagnostic Assessments of clients
  • Clinical consultations and treatments
  • Creating correspondence and reports
  • Service clients from a range of referral sources
  • Provide face to face individual, couples & group counselling

To be successful in this role you must be a Qualified and Registered Psychologist with post qualification experience.  You must also have a Working With Children Check (or be willing to undertake one).  

It would be desirable if you have Private Practice experience as well as experience with children, adolescents and family therapy.
