Our client works in partnership with schools to prepare young people for life. The program is based on the belief that key life skills, such as leadership, resilience and empathy are developed through real life experience and they enable young people to develop these skills through powerful student-led expeditions overseas. Working with schools across the globe, they have offices in Europe, Australasia, North America and the UAE, delivering over 700 expeditions each year.

The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Sales and Operations Administrator to join their company based in Melbourne, VIC, with the potential to earn $50,000 per annum + superannuation.

The primary purpose of this position is to be the backbone of the operations department. You will be supporting the sales teams in Australia and New Zealand to help facilitate educationally focused tours. 

Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager some of your responsibilities include:


  • Identification of lead generation channels for sales
  • Develop quotes, proposals and conferences 
  • Manage financial matters comfortably
  • Liaise with the flight team to ensure dates and airlines are correct
  • Oversee the customer journey prior to departure, developing strong relationships along the way
  • Product knowledge and product development: an understanding and love of travel

To be successful in this role you must have a relevant tertiary qualification with experience in a similar role. Additionally, travel industry experience is highly advantageous but not essential. 

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be proficient in using MS Office and will have a well-developed attention to detail to ensure that all tours run perfectly. Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
