Our Client
Our client is a local family owned business founded in 1997. Their focus is to be Australia's number one provider of quality new used trucks. They are located on a large premises in the heart of Wagga Wagga priding themselves on having a state of the art fully equipped workshop. This includes three truck hoists & a heavy vehicle brake and shake VIS system, a fully equipped spray painting and repair shop, a truck wash & detailing facility with hoist, a full spare parts department and a modern sales and administration office.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their company in Wagga Wagga, NSW, with the potential to earn up to $35 an hour + Superannuation negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
The primary purpose of this position is to repair and service trucks and heavy vehicles appropriately.
Reporting directly to the Workshop & Service Manager, some of your responsibilities include:
- Workshop servicing and maintaining a wide variety of heavy vehicles and trucks
- Liaising with customers and other team members in a professional manner
- Onsite service and repairs
To be successful in this role you will have a Trade Certificate within the Automotive/Mechanics industry. Additionally, years of experience working on heavy vehicles would be beneficial for this position.
