Over the last 5 years, our client has experienced rapid growth thanks to hiring excellent people into their business whilst staying ahead of design trends for tiles (including pavers, sandstone tiles, bricks, cladding etc). They carefully source, hand select and import tiles from across the globe. They have invested in a state of the art tile showroom allowing for leading designers and architects to see their products, firsthand.
Our client is seeking a Sales Administration Officer to join their company in Stanmore, NSW, with the potential to earn up to $65,000 per annum | salary $50-60,000 (negotiable based on your experience) + super.
The primary purpose of this position is to be the conduit between internal sales, accounts & warehousing as well as external logistics companies.
Reporting to the Managing Director and having a dotted line to Sales & Accounts some of your responsibilities include:
- Organising Purchase Orders from Sales activity
- Using Xero & the in-house ERP system to create and send Invoices
- Confirming that stock is available with the Warehouse Manager
- Organising stock for efficient pickup, eg how many boxes can fit on to a pallet
- Booking pickup and deliveries with local logistics companies
To be successful in this role you will have very good computer skills (ERP systems, Xero etc), good communication skills (as you will be dealing with clients, booking pickup/deliveries with local logistics companies etc) and excellent coordination skills.
You must also have an eye for detail, good understanding of numbers and the ability to juggle multiple activities whilst liaising with multiple internal stakeholders.
Someone with a basic understanding of logistics and some knowledge of tiles/building products would be looked at favourably.
