Our client is an online back office solution provider that has been servicing McDonald's franchises for 30 years. Our client is well established, successful and constantly growing, having introduced the bookkeeping side to the business 2 years ago. 

About The Role


Our client is now looking for a Software Tester and Documentor to join their company based in New Lynn, Auckland, with the potential to earn up to $90k pa | Negotiable Salary $50k - $90k pa Based on Experience

The role of the software tester/documenter is to test technical solutions to ensure they meet the client’s needs and to create documentation that supports the client’s use of the technical solution. To do this it is essential that you understand the client and what business problem the software you are testing and documenting is solving for them.

Reporting directly to the Director some of your responsibilities include:


  • Developing automated tests for repeated tasks. 
  • Specification and design testing and unit testing. 
  • Analysing user stories and clarifying acceptance criteria.
  • Working closely with software developers, designers, and business analysts, in an agile environment, to help ensure successful product releases and defect resolution.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in Software Testing and Documentation. Additionally, any relevant degrees or tertiary qualifications would be beneficial for this position.


This position would suit someone who's problem-solving skills and attention to details are second to none and has a excellent client service approach and can bring a professional, positive attitude.
