About The Opportunity

They are now looking for a Course Trainer & Assessor to join their company in Hawthorn, VIC, with the potential to earn a base salary + Super on a pro rata basis as this is a Part-Time (0.6) position - hours are negotiable. 

The primary purpose of this position is to develop and coordinate the delivery of high-quality Sterilisation, Infection Prevention and Control courses including short courses and consultancies.

Reporting directly to the Director of Education some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Incorporate contemporary learning principles to provide innovative and engaging learning experiences to course
  • Monitor and update curriculum and maintain appropriate course documentation including educational master files and
    student records.
  • Assist in the preparation of client business proposals and course accreditation documents. Facilitate business development.

About You 

The successful candidate will have significant experience completing sterilisation and infection control practices in the workplace. Additionally, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Health Sciences (Postgraduate) qualification.
  • Qualification in Infection Control and Sterilisation.
  • Formal qualification in Vocational Education and Training – minimum level Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

This position would suit someone who is committed to quality outcomes and best practices in customer service and has contemporary knowledge of sterilisation services, policies, and practices in the health system.
