Our client is a multi-disciplinary company specialising in Planning, Engineering and Surveying with offices in Newcastle, the Central Coast and in Sydney. They treat each and every project as if it was their own and continue to forge long-term relationships with their clients. 

About The Opportunity

They are now looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their company in Warners Bay, NSW, with the potential to earn up to a negotiable salary based on your experience + Super + Paid overtime.  

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the engineering department, including the coordination with the Tuggerah office for job and resource allocation and delivery management.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing current and future workload and resource availability
  • Preparing fee proposals and tenders for procurement of new projects
  • Reviewing design plans, reports, specifications and documentation for compliance with standards and approvals for submission. 
  • Providing technical expertise to Town Planning pertaining to policies, standards and best practice engineering matters. 

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Civil Engineer 
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) of an equivalent 
  • Experience in civil design, including infrastructure (Ideally within a consultancy environment) 
  • Experience leading a project team and the ability to manage relationships with clients, contractors, colleagues and more.
