About The Opportunity

They are looking for a Field Service Technician to join their company based in Sydney, NSW, servicing NSW, QLD and other territories, with the potential to earn $83,000 pa | Negotiable Salary Based on Experience $60,000 - $70,000 + $13,000 Car Allowance + Super + Potential Bonuses.

Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering quality, professional on-site preventative maintenance servicing, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of equipment
  • Providing customer support by phone and email
  • Working with other Field Service Engineers to resolve technical or customer issues
  • Pro-actively contacting customers, driving the growth of the service business in territories of responsibility
  • Delivering training and application support to customers on-site when required
  • Maintaining accurate internal paperwork and customer database information and documentation of customer visits
  • Supporting the sales team with product demonstration and lead generation

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication
  • A proven, hands-on technical ability and background in mechanical and/or electro-mechanical field with a knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings, electronic schematics, and wiring diagrams, and pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams
  • Excellent and logical troubleshooting skills
  • A current Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle 
  • Proficiency with IT tools such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • The Flexibility to travel within Australia, sometimes with limited notice
