Our Client

Our client is the oldest Occupational Rehabilitation provider in NSW. They are a not for profit organisation with a primary of focus on providing fair and transparent worker focused return to work (same employer or new employer) outcomes. Our client has a longstanding affiliation of trade unions, and receives referrals from a wide range of sources including injured workers, treating doctors / allied health practitioners, trade unions and insurers including some of Australia's largest companies and organisations, government departments, local councils and community organisations.

The Opportunity


Our client is in a period of growth and has multiple vacancies for experienced or new consultants to join their organisation in Harris Park, NSW.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a range of Injury Management and Occupational Rehabilitation services to clients within the Workers Compensation scheme. The main goal is to assist an injured person to return to work in a timely manner by working with the injured worker, their employer and medical / allied health practitioners. A high level of skill in communication with various stakeholders, understanding the Workers Compensation framework and interpreting medical information to facilitate change is required. 

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager some of your responsibilities include:


  • Conducting various assessments with injured workers (Functional, Workplace, Vocational, Activities of Daily Living)
  • Liaising with treating medical practitioners, employers and relevant allied health practitioners
  • High levels of communication both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical & problem solving to analyse barriers to RTW
  • Commitment to providing quality services and continuous improvement 

About You 

The successful candidate will be a tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist/ Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist or a  Psychologist / Rehab Counsellor.

You must hold a registration with your disciplines professional body (AHPRA, ASORC etc) Exercises Physiologist must have a SIRA registration number to be eligible to provide Occupational Rehabilitation Services.
