Our Client
Our client is a rapidly growing plastering company based in the Melbourne area. They specialise in residential, volume builds and commercial developments and are dedicated to providing a full service from hanging plaster to the pre-paint stage. With nearly 20 years experience within the industry, they offer dedicated and experienced staff with the aim of providing a high-quality service at all times.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Qualified Maintenance Plasterer to join their company as a subcontractor in Melbourne, VIC with the potential to earn a generous hourly rate.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide all aspects of the plastering service to the highest standard.
Reporting directly to the Manager some of your responsibilities include:
- Carry out plaster repairs and touch-ups
- Be responsible for sanding down to ensure a smooth finish
- Working both as a team and autonomously to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Hanging plasterboard, cornice, patching, and pre-painting
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified plasterer and hold a white or red card. Additionally, you must have a current drivers licence, own vehicle, and your own tools for this position.
The ideal candidate for this role will be committed, reliable and willing to work hard.
