About The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Foreman some of your responsibilities will include:
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings or blueprints to fabricate and assemble structural components, frames, and fixtures
- Perform various types of welding processes, such as MIG and stick welding
- Ensure precision and adherence to quality standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to coordinate the assembly and installation
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise, proposing solutions to ensure the timely completion of projects
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar Welder/Boilermaker role
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, ideally MIG and stick welding
- Skills in reading and understanding engineering drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components
You will also have:
- The ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures
