They are needing another Exercise Physiologist to join the team for direct clinical care of their patients. Group classes and one on one sessions are combined to treat the Physio's patients by the exercise physiologists. Renowned in the local area for their exercise prescriptive abilities, they have a model that suits Exercise Physiology better than most. They are involved in teaching at Universities and offer in-house training sessions for other professionals. They also value customer service as one of the most important parts of their treatment and believe that in order to get the best results for the patient, they need to have a positive experience from start to finish. About The Opportunity

This role will require an Exercise Physiologist who is experienced, but also willing to learn more from a team of dual qualified Physios/EP’s. You will be working directly with the patients of the in-house physios to administer and progress their exercise programs. With a truly comfortable and progressive set-up, you will work in the two onsite gyms in the clinic and play a vital role in the rehabilitation and ongoing care of the patients.

Part or Full-time hours can be discussed, however full-time is preferable with incentives to do more hours if desired. You will be working in an excellent 250sqm facility with extensive equipment including DEXA scanner, a pilates room, and 2 onsite fully equipped gyms including a purpose-built studio for group exercise. 

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
• 2+ years of experience in private practice (desirable)
• ESSA registration and personal liability insurance
• Strong skills in exercise prescription and a high understanding of it
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to build professional relationships with local GPs and specialists
• A clear understanding of the importance of customer service
• A high level of self-motivation and a passion to build the brand and client base
