About The Company

Our client is an Australian family-owned business in Cowra that manufactures a range of products such as shade sails and structures, truck tarps, tautliner curtains and more with the aim to service a wide range of industries across Australia. They are known for producing quality products, and take pride in being an Australian manufacturing company. Their customer base is made up of Rural, Agricultural, Commercial, Transport, Industrial and Mining Sectors as well as the general public.

About the Opportunity

Our client see their team members and staff as very important to the company and they value people who show a positive attitude and have an honest and trustworthy approach. The primary purpose of this position is to work in client management, supplier contracts, and project delivery for the supply and installation of shade sails and structures.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Support multiple construction projects from start to finish 
  • Coordinate project activities and communicate with clients
  • Coordinate contractors and site teams
  • Perform site set-out and mark-out
  • Conduct on-site meetings with clients
  • Prepare Materials Purchase Orders
  • Maintain project documentation and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Conduct site visits and assessments
  • Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and stay updated on industry trends
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to coordinate projects and communicate effectively with contractors and clients
  • Previous experience in the building/construction industry (desirable)
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office suite
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current NSW White Card or willingness to obtain

You will also have:

  • The ability to pay strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines 
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and honest approach
  • Strong client management skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
