About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to respond to a variety of alarm events while communicating with clients to assist with their needs.

Reporting to the Central Monitoring Station Team Leader, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively participate as a member of the Central Monitoring Station team
  • Follow standard monitoring response procedures according to AS2201.2
  • Record all actions clearly and accurately in the Patriot monitoring platform
  • Update client information accurately in the Patriot monitoring platform
  • Liaise with clients/stakeholders regarding alarm/event activations
  • Respond to alarm/event activations in a timely manner

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills  - clear, concise and accurate manner in person and over the phone
  • A high level of computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new systems and software
  • The ability to maintain professionalism in all and every aspect of the Monitoring Station Operations
  • Patience, understanding and empathy wherever possible
  • The ability to work in a team environment

You will also need:

  • Security Officer's licence or willingness to obtain
  • Police Clearance or willingness to obtain 
  • The ability to work on a 24/7 roster
