About The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Production Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage employees and subcontractors to create efficiencies and drive accountability
- Take responsibility for the execution of safety policies
- Assist with the implementation of Lean processes through continual improvement strategies
- Be the face of the company on-site to the customer and manage handovers
- Organise project meetings and on-site materials deliveries
Please confirm with your family or friends before applying for this role, that it works for all involved for you to be able to travel away from time to time (mostly in Queensland) during a normal work week, meaning an overnight stay if required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Site Co-ordinator or Foreman in the building industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Trade qualification (Carpentry desirable)
- Current drivers licence
You will also have:
- The ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures
