About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to work as part of a small team providing outsourced end-to-end payroll services for a number of clients, ensuring that pays are processed correctly and on time and client queries are resolved satisfactorily. Each client typically has a payroll of between 1-150 people, and most payrolls are processed monthly so this is a high volume and busy role where no two days are the same!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with onboarding new payroll clients and set up new employees
  • Ensure all documentation (TFN, Super, Employment Contracts) is completed
  • Enter monthly payroll data, manage leave balances, and generate necessary reports
  • Prepare and lodge payroll taxes and monthly IAS
  • Process superannuation lodgements and set up WorkCover policies as needed
  • Support EOM and EOFY reporting processes
  • Address payroll-related inquiries to assist clients and employees

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role processing multiple payrolls and juggling multiple clients
  • Knowledge of general payroll legislation including Superannuation, payroll tax and STP
  • Previous experience in high volume end-to-end payroll (desirable)
  • Experience in HR3 (preferred)
  • Competency using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

You must also have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to manage your time to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • A desire and ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team
  • The ability to multitask with a consultative approach
