About The Opportunity
As an Asphalt Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of all asphalt and civil construction projects.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for asphalt and civil works projects, covering all aspects like materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to identify scope, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare and submit tenders and quotations to clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Work with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractors for specific projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an asphalt estimator
- Strong knowledge of asphalt production, roadworks, and civil construction processes.
- Solid understanding of construction cost estimation, tendering, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-effective solutions and manage project budgets.
