About The Opportunity
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the crews and maintaining excellent client relationships. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Plant Foreman/Supervisors and Crews.
- Assist with job cost analysis and comparing bid vs. build for projects.
- Assist in the preparation and queries of accurate tender processes and related documentation.
- Provide timely documentation to customers, including SWMS, Toolbox Talks, and Service Records.
- Organise and schedule works, including coordinating subcontractors, source and order materials.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to enhance J&E Asphalt's reputation and foster strong working relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in the same or similar role
- A strong understanding of asphalt construction, including the ability to read plans and knowledge of specifications and applications.
- Excellent written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in maintaining excellent client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements
You will also have:
- Knowledge of local contractors and businesses (strongly preferred).
- A current driver's license and relevant industry licenses/certifications.
