Our client provides an optical insurance product that uses CRM software to retain accurate data and encourage patient loyalty. They began in New Zealand and have expanded to Australia, targeting independent SME Optometrists to provide a worry-free purchase for their patients and enhance practices profits.

The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to pursue and maintain the territory of NSW & ACT, with the potential to earn an inclusive package of circa $150,000 pa with uncapped commissions.

The primary purpose of this position is to leverage the strengths of the business as a boutique organisation offering a unique client retention and relationship program as well as optical insurance product and CRM software system. 

Reporting to the Managing Director some of your responsibilities include:


  • Establishing, maintaining and presenting the business opportunity to practices
  • Numerate and computer adapt
  • Coaching and training practice team for patient retention and business opportunities
  • Assess and review products, training, POS to improve and refine systems
  • Developing and maintaining client software systems, completing and maintaining reports, data and CRM
  • Implementing and maintaining legal pre-requisites
To be successful in this role you will be a lateral-minded person who thinks outside the box with great financial skills. You must have experience in the optical industry, a tertiary degree in Business or Economics, experience with CRM Software, and a valid drivers licence.
