Our client, established in 1993, is a successful family-owned company that is a leader and innovator in the manufacturing and construction industry. They service clients across QLD from their modern, purpose-built premises in regional QLD. They provide eco-friendly cabins and homes with at least a 7-star energy efficiency rating. Their buildings are designed to minimize the use of cleaning products, further reducing their environmental impact.

About The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively managing the sales pipeline and ensuring timely follow-ups with clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including production and marketing, to meet delivery and customer engagement goals
  • Managing contracts for your projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Overseeing project variations and authorising changes in alignment with company policies
  • Continuously improving the sales process through customer feedback and quality assessments
  • Promoting sustainable sales practices and incorporating environmentally friendly options into proposals
  • Assist with Project Handovers if required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar position leading sales and marketing strategies
  • Experience working in a leadership position
  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • A strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales processes
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities to develop a high-performing sales team
  • A current drivers licence and the ability to occasionally travel within QLD to visit clients 

You will also have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and project challenges
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on safety and quality
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments
  • A commitment to promoting environmental sustainability within sales practices
