About The Opportunity

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing food preparation and cooking stations efficiently
  • Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
  • Preparing and cooking high-quality meals using a variety of cooking techniques
  • Collaborating with team members to create a cohesive and enjoyable kitchen environment

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-4 years of experience in an Australian busy kitchen environment, specifically with pans, grill, and pass experience
  • A qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or Cert IV) or equivalent
  • A solid understanding of Australian kitchen operations and food safety
  • Management experience or relevant courses will be viewed favourably
  • Conflict resolution skills to foster a harmonious team dynamic
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ala Carte experience (1-2 years) is highly desirable
