About The Opportunity
In response to recent growth our client is now launching an internal asphalt department to strengthen project delivery and support its next phase of expansion.
The primary purpose of this position is to establish, lead, and drive the success of a brand-new asphalt division within the organisation.
Reporting directly to the senior management team, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and securing new asphalt work across sectors
- Pricing and quoting projects to ensure commercial success
- Recruiting and developing a high-performing on-site asphalt team
- Programming and managing projects from planning to completion
- Maintaining quality standards and optimising cost control
- Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for business growth
- Embedding the company’s values and culture within the new division
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the asphalt or civil construction industry
- Strong project management and commercial acumen
- Proven ability to price and win work, build teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A hands-on approach with the drive to build something from the ground up
- Alignment with the company's values and a commitment to fostering positive team culture
