About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert contract administration support across a portfolio of ongoing commercial and civil projects, ensuring contracts are managed efficiently from inception to close-out.
Reporting to senior management, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing contracts, compiling and submitting departures, and negotiating final terms with clients
- Preparing and submitting notices under contracts, including delays, extensions of time, and disputes
- Completing and submitting Returnable Schedules to key clients
- Monitoring and reporting on project performance, completion status, and KPI compliance
- Facilitating contract close-outs, including compiling and issuing warranties, QA/compliance documents, and deeds
- Managing subcontractor procurement and appointment processes
- Liaising and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants
- Collaborating with operations and project managers to meet delivery milestones and influence project outcomes
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator on major commercial and/or civil projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of contractual and commercial arrangements between clients and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction industry Acts, Codes, and Regulations
You will also have:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills and experience with industry software such as Aconex and Procore
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong budget management skills and the ability to influence outcomes
