About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to support and drive HSEQ initiatives, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality standards are maintained across all operations.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of SWMS, procedures, and policies
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training
- Managing subcontractor compliance and engagement processes
- Reporting on safety performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives
- Supporting ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification processes
- Preparing HSEQ documentation to support tenders and projects
- Attending stakeholder meetings and promoting safety culture
- Facilitate training and upskilling of Field Team through external providers and/or product suppliers
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in an HSEQ role within construction
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma desirable)
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance standards
- Experience with ISO systems and integrated management systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience using systems such as Hammertech, Aconex, or Procore
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to safety and improvement
