About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building client relationships. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the modular construction market
- Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
- Lead commercial discussions, proposals and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are achievable and well delivered
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting and performance reporting
- Travel to meet clients as required (mostly day trips, occasional overnight stays)
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven commercial sales experience, preferably within construction or a related industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
- A results-driven and highly motivated approach, with a genuine desire to sell, succeed and consistently achieve strong outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
