About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage commercial leasing and property law matters while supporting a busy legal practice.
Reporting directly to the Principal some of your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own files autonomously across leasing and property matters
- Advising clients on commercial leasing, business sales, and property transactions
- Liaising with clients, agents, financial institutions, and external stakeholders
- Working closely with internal staff including law clerks and support teams
- Managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines
- Supporting general practice matters where required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Laws qualification and relevant legal admission
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a law firm environment
- Strong experience in commercial leasing and property law
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple matters
- Experience with LEAP, Smokeball and PEXA (highly regarded)
