About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to prepare accurate technical drawings and support engineering projects through detailed drafting and 3D modelling work.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Developing and modifying 3D models and assemblies
- Interpreting engineering sketches and project specifications
- Coordinating with project teams to ensure drawing accuracy
- Maintaining drawing registers and project documentation
- Ensuring drawings comply with company and industry standards
- Supporting engineering and project delivery requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or similar role
- Strong technical understanding across mechanical or electrical systems
- Experience with 3D modelling and drafting processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
