About The Company
Our client is a premium, self-licensed financial advice firm specialising in holistic advice to High Net Worth (HNW) and wholesale clients. Renowned for tailored solutions and exceptional client outcomes, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Adviser to join their Sydney CBD office and take over an established client portfolio. You will be supported by a capable internal team (investment, compliance, paraplanning and admin), allowing you to focus on advice quality, client relationships and growth.
About The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an Adviser who enjoys managing sophisticated, relationships and delivering strategic advice across investments and wealth structuring. You will step into an established portfolio of ~50 wholesale/HNW clients and drive outstanding ongoing service.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Managing relationships with approximately 50 wholesale and HNW clients
- Leading review meetings, maintaining clear follow-through and end-to-end ownership of client outcomes
- Providing advice across investments, superannuation, retirement, SMSFs, and trusts
- Overseeing implementation: trades, cashflow, corporate actions, contributions/withdrawals, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met. Will also include compiling and reviewing HNW cashflow reports.
- Partnering with paraplanners and an internal investment team to deliver high-quality SOAs/ROAs and ongoing portfolio oversight
- Maintaining best-practice compliance, file notes, consents, KYC and audit-ready records in a self-licensed environment
- Supporting process improvements and uplifting service standards across the support team where required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- FASEA qualification with minimum 3+ years experience as a Financial Adviser
- Strong experience managing wholesale or High Net Worth clients
- Technical expertise across investments, superannuation, SMSFs, and trusts
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex client engagements end-to-end and manage competing priorities
- Strong systems capability with Xplan and IPS/Iress (or similar)
- High attention to detail with strong compliance awareness
- Proactive and client-focused approach to advice delivery
