About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee operational delivery across multiple construction projects while managing teams, client relationships, and project performance outcomes. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects across Tier 1 commercial and civil construction sites
• Leading and coordinating teams of up to 10–15 workers on active projects
• Overseeing QA management, reporting, and project compliance requirements
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and key project stakeholders
• Developing works programmes, resource plans, and labour scheduling
• Supporting monthly claims preparation and variation management
• Monitoring project performance, KPI outcomes, and profitability
• Maintaining strong client communication across site managers and engineers
• Supporting OH&S compliance, toolbox meetings, and site safety initiatives
• Driving operational improvements and troubleshooting project issues

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience managing civil or Tier 1 commercial construction projects
• Strong leadership capability across workforce and subcontractor teams
• Experience with QA systems, reporting, and project documentation
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including P&L accountability
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across construction environments
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and resource planning capability
• Relevant construction or building industry qualifications (highly regarded)
