About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare loan discharge payout figures. An additional element of this role will be to liaise with the company’s borrowers, solicitors, and third parties to ensure the loan discharge is finalised within the required time frame.

Reporting directly to the Discharge Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare payout figures, including all applicable fees and costs
  • Prepare payout figures for internal use – Legal Action and Internal Refinances
  • Ensure discharge of Mortgage Documents are prepared and executed correctly
  • Prepare solicitor instructions and borrower correspondence in relation to their discharge
  • Monitor the email inbox, prioritise requests, sort incoming mail and electronic filing
  • Process daily reports and update accounts as required
  • Respond to customer queries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Any other tasks as directed by the department manager and/or executive

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in lending and the understanding of loan interest calculations
  • Experience in accurately processing data with a knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data import/export
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency with an ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work well within a team
