About The Company
Formed in 1974, our client has grown to be one of the largest providers of two-way radio and satellite communications equipment in Australia. Specialising in short term and managed service rental solutions, they operate in a wide range of industries including Event Management, Councils, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Construction, Security and Mining.
About The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking for a driven individual who will grow and develop their already well-established rental customer base as well as implementing outbound calling initiatives to create new business opportunities.
Reporting directly to the National Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include:
- Build sales volumes within existing accounts and develop new customers
- Establish a rapport with the existing customer base with a view to growing these relationships to maximise future opportunities
- Prepare quotes and manage the sales funnel
- Provide product information and other administrative duties
- Accurately forecast and manage a sales pipeline to achieve group targets
- Accurate and efficient data entry
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years experience working in a similar sales-based position
- Experience in the rental, radio, and/or satellite communication sector (desirable)
- A professional phone manner with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Excellent administration skills with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- A positive “can–do” and enthusiastic approach to your job
