The Medical Centre is AGPAL accredited and is situated within a purpose-built, state-of-the-art Health and Wellbeing Centre which recently underwent a $20 million expansion.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to implement and monitor important improvements to the company's existing Medical Centre services in collaboration with the Health and Medical Manager.

Some of your responsibilities would include:

  • Innovation and efficiency of health care services including structuring clinics and initiatives
  • Monitor data and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Understand and interpret core healthcare systems and the healthcare environment (including Medicare and Medicare Incentive Programs)
  • Monitor patient scheduling, referrals, and patient satisfaction
  • Monitor and review eHealth updates and initiatives
  • Work with the company's Health Professionals, Health and Medical Manager, and Executives to develop and implement business strategies
  • Communicate changes with other senior staff and monitor implementation of such
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Medico-Legal and Clinical aspects and implementation within activities

About You 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in Medicare billing practices or a demonstrated ability to implement system or process changes within the health and wellbeing sector
  • Experience with change management and/or implementing efficiencies among diverse teams
  • Strong knowledge of Medico-Legal and Clinical aspects and implementation within activities (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate staff
  • The ability to prioritise work and able to meet deadlines
  • A high level of confidentiality

You must also have the following:

  • A Police Check
  • Working with Children Check/BlueCard (or be eligible to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License
