About The Company
Our client supplies, installs and repairs pumps for industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential clients throughout Mackay and surrounding areas. They specialise in all aspects of water management from pipe fittings and filtration to treatment and irrigation systems.
About The Opportunity
As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the operational success of the store. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Managing staff performance and development, fostering a positive work environment
- Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring exceptional service
- Maintaining inventory levels and overseeing stock control
- Implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Analysing store performance and preparing reports for management
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in retail management, preferably in the trade, pumps, or irrigation sectors
- A relevant trade background that enhances your understanding of all products
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
